Journey to the off beaten path

I found out yesterday that I got the post for Recruitment Supervisor. I was eyeing a position in the said department since last year because I am sick and tired, literally and figuratively, of the everyday stress that I've been dealing with in Operations Department. My heart was overwhelmed because it is an answered prayer. I will assume the post that comes with manageable stress level which in turn would be of help in improving my health.
Now comes the bad news, Cruella De Ville does not want to release me yet. The nerve of that evil witch to prolong my agony!

So far, so good

In my last post, which was posted a year ago, I shared with y'all that I will be moving to a different island for work.
So far I am enjoying the peaceful, laid back atmosphere here in Mindanao. The people are generally nice and easy to work with. The cost of living is low compared to Manila. I have been to other places nearby like Samal, Bukidnon, Gen. San, and Cagayan de Oro.
I am loving it here, I miss my family back home though.
